My Friend Dave
🌿 Welcome to the My Friend Dave Project on Vimeo
The My Friend Dave Project is a grassroots art therapy and storytelling initiative founded by art therapist Jennifer Seniuk, dedicated to amplifying the voices of those often left unheard — men navigating addiction, trauma, houselessness, and mental health challenges.
What began with weekly art groups, coffee, and creative connection has grown into a movement rooted in dignity, creativity, and community. Participants are not just supported — they are seen, celebrated, and invited to share their stories through art, writing, and film.
This Vimeo channel is the official home of the My Friend Dave Project’s visual storytelling — including short documentaries, behind-the-scenes footage, creative extras, and future series. Each film honors the healing power of being witnessed, and the belief that change doesn’t come from systems alone — it comes from showing up with kindness, week after week.
All proceeds from rentals support the continuation of this work: providing art supplies, snacks, dignity kits, and safe, creative spaces for participants to share their truth and create new possibilities.
This is just the beginning. Welcome to the movement.
